DESCRIPTION:Join the Green Rose Team and Keep Tahoe Blue for a Community Clean Up in the Tahoe Meadows! Join us for a Community Clean Up as we come together to care for the outdoor spaces we all enjoy. \nWhen: 10AM-12PM\nWhere: Tahoe Meadows\, snowmobile/Tahoe Rim Trail parking lot (carpooling encouraged) click here for directions. \nBring:\n• Work gloves\n• Water bottle\n• Sunscreen \nWe provide:\n• Cleanup supplies (bags & grabbers)\n• Hand sanitizer and first aid\n• Light snacks and drinks\n• Water refill station \nWe’ll split into teams to cover areas like the sledding hill\, boardwalk\, and TRT connector. \nImportant: Waivers for Keep Tahoe Blue and the Forest Service are required. Afterward\, we’ll share results and celebrate the impact. (See sign up link above ^) \nThis is a great opportunity to connect with others\, spend time outdoors\, and make a positive impact right here in our community. The Tahoe Meadows are a vital ecosystem in the Tahoe Basin. They serve as carbon sinks\, provide habitats for many pollinators\, and play an important role in water regulation. It is crucial to keep them clean and litter-free!
