Employee Recognition Program

Recipients must be active employees. Each recipient of a “High Five” ticket can redeem them in the HR office for a $5 elevation card and then enter the ticket into the weekly raffle for a prize.

Nominees

Each department manager will receive only 5 “High Five” tickets each month in their box from HR. The manager will select employees who are going above the expected workload to help the Mt Rose team.

Managers please be specific about what the employee did to earn the voucher.

For example: “Ben took on an extra project and blew it out of the water.” Or “Cassie saw a potential safety issue and made sure it was resolved.”

Not: “April is awesome.” This does not help the employee know what they did, nor help other employees know what they could do.

Redemption

Employees will need to bring the “High Five” ticket to the HR office to receive the $5 elevation card and to be entered into the raffle.

HR will draw raffle winners each week and provide those employee’s managers notice to have their employees pick up their prize in the HR office. The names and accomplishments will be posted in the employee newsletter each payroll cycle and on select TVs around the lodge.

Mt Rose

Limitations

Managers should not issue a “High Five” ticket to an employee that they have already given one to this season. If an employee receives more than one “High Five” ticket they can still receive the $5 elevation card but not a second raffle prize.

Raffle tickets that do not selected that week will be returned to the pot and be eligible for selection on all remaining drawings for the season.

Lost “High Five” tickets or lost $5 elevation cards will not be replaced.
