Hear comes the BASE!
An early season storm can make a big difference when you’ve already done the groundwork.
The first dustings of snow around Tahoe are always exciting. But at Rose, it’s not just about what falls from the sky. It’s about what’s already on the ground.
At 8,260 feet, elevation gives us a natural advantage when temperatures drop. Combine that with our snowmaking capabilities (& snomaking team), including a 5-million-gallon water storage tank, and we’re able to make the most of early-season cold weather to build a solid foundation.
So when Mother Nature adds a few inches, it’s building on the snow we’ve already made.
That’s the difference a strong base makes. Small storms can have a bigger impact, and every inch helps move us closer to our opening day.
Because it’s not always about how much snow falls. It’s about what’s already underneath it.
